Disabling Guest Accounts on Windows is Important for Security. Guest user accounts are undesirable because they grant anonymous access to local data and applications (IT Pro Today). This puts a lot of pressure on IT admins to ensure that permissions are set properly on file servers and network file shares
To disable guest account, follow these steps.
Step 1: click on windows icon and
press add, edit or remove other users and hit enter.
Step 2: Click on the guest’s account
name and click remove. For example: here my guest’s account name is FOR
BROTHER so, I will click on FOR BROTHER and then I will click on remove
Step 3: There will be a dialog box on
your screen, click on Delete account and data.
Step 4: It will take a bit of your time
(around 30-40 secs) wait until it and then you can see there is no guest
account.
